Best Time to Visit

Featuring a Mediterranean climate, Icmeler has very humid summer months and mildly cold winters. Temperatures are at its highest in June and July but never exceed 30 degree Celsius making it the ideal vacation for all around the year. However, spring and autumn are considered to be the best time to visit Icmeler because of a more pleasant climate.

How to Get There

Icmeler is served by the Dalaman Airport which is connected to several major cities via air. There are plenty of airport transfer facilities to the resort town by buses, shuttles and taxis alike. Things to do, see and buy in Icmeler

Icmeler is rich in pine trees, palm trees, Eucalyptus trees, several fruit bearing trees, olive trees and of course, the precious Gunnuk Tree which is supposed to be the highest oxygen producing plant and is found only here and California. The town is pretty like a picture with little Ottoman Style houses huddled together set across a brilliant landscape of golden beaches and sunny surroundings. The Icmeler Dolphin Park or Aquapark is the top most popular tourist destination in the town and is one of best theme parks here. One can pet and befriend dolphins as well as enjoy a little swimming. The town has several boat trips and jeep safari one can avail of and also a couple of water parks for fun. Water sports like surfing, diving, fishing, swimming and water skiing are very well developed and popular here. There aren’t many nightclubs or partying in this resort town. In its own charming way, it is small, peaceful and absolutely perfect. Icmeler hosts its weekly market on Wednesdays and there are many kinds of goods like handicrafts, art, textiles, carpet, jewelry, etc available here.
