TRAVELING TO CAPPADOCIA FROM MARMARIS
Surrounded by the towns of Hacıbektaş, Aksaray, Niğde and Kayseri, Cappadocia is well known as the most visually striking region in the country. Cappadocia, which is sometimes called Kapadokya, is a place to see ancient caves, pinnacle and sensuous folds in the soft volcanic rock. The land is fertile and perfect for growing different kinds of fruit and vegetables. The region prides itself as the top grape growing area in Anatolia and home to a lot of productive vineyards and wineries. Although, Cappadocia is not a top travel destination for tourists in Turkey, there are still some lovely things to do and beautiful places worth visiting here including catching stunning views of the area while flying in a hot-air balloon; hiking the Rose Valley; exploring the ancient cave churches; and spending the night in one of the lovely cave hotel accommodations. One of the easiest way to visit Cappadocia is to use Marmaris as your beginning point. Many travelers after visiting Greece , they choose to arrive to Rhodes and then by a speed ferry in 45 minutes they arrive to Marmaris from Rhodes.

HOW TO GET TO CAPPADOCIA FROM MARMARIS
Cappadocia is easily reached by bus from Marmaris. Travel time from Marmaris to Cappadocia is approximately a 12 hour drive. There is usually one overnight bus conveying passengers to this area of the country. Due to the limited number of buses available, travelers are expected to make reservations ahead of time. The bus leaves for Cappadocia from otogar ( bus station ), Marmaris at exactly 4:30 pm.
If you don’t want to take a direct bus or want to see some beautiful sites on the way to Cappadocia such as Ephesus or Pamukkale .You can decide on making reservations for a trip from Marmaris to Pamukkale and then to Cappadocia. Pamukkale, a natural site with plenty of attractions, tavertines and hot springs, is about 10 hours to Cappadocia by bus. After exploring the various places of interest in Pamukkale, you can buy bus tickets to this wonderful destination at the Denizli bus station. Here you will find only 2 overnight buses departing for Cappadocia. The distance between Pamukkale and Cappadocia is 530km (330 miles).
For travelers with more than enough time to spare, it is best to book the tour from Marmaris to Ephesus and Pamukkale on the first day and from here you can easily connect to Cappadocia the next morning. It’s 720 km (447 miles), which is approximately a 12 hour drive from Ephesus region to Cappadocia. Travelers can break their journey by staying the night at Pamukkale to experience its vibrant nightlife and see some of its great attractions. Travel distance from Ephesus to Pamukkale is 190 km (118 miles), which is roughly a 3 hour drive.
